Iran is ready to restart nuclear talks with Washington on condition that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat stated exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed new appeals had been made by intermediaries to reopen negotiations with the American leadership. He claimed Iran possessed no unreported enrichment locations, and Iran could not yet authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to inspect attacked atomic facilities for safety concerns.

Navigating a Complex Path

Araghchi is treading a challenging course since Iran does not want be seen to be operating from a situation of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out stronger in military terms and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was talking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to process nuclear material within its borders that it will always maintain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Every aspect of our defense have been reestablished. We acquired many lessons from this engagement; we have come to know our personal limitations and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He added: "We successfully passed this war. Our atomic expertise, which they aimed to eliminate, continues to exist. The facilities and gear, if eliminated, will be restored; what is essential is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they targeted, but did not succeed to destroy. The nation of Iran have grown stronger, more cohesive, and more supportive of the leadership and the country in the face of this assault."
